Graphic Era Hill University: A paradise to behold

Graphic Era Hill University is nestled in far end of Dehradun, Clementown. Away from the hustles and bustles of the main city, the university offers a peaceful atmosphere for the students.

The view of the front garden is an eye candy adorned by beautiful flowers and lush green grass and it appeals to the visitors who come from far and near to seek admission in this college. The trees offer shady areas for seeking shelter in the scorching heat and add to the overall aesthetic of the campus. Most of the plants have a name plate assigned to it, which bears its common name and biological name.

The building has 6 floors in total, including the ground floor. The building is composed of multiple blocks conjoined by common passages. The passages contain the staffroom.

     

Every floor’s entrance is starred by a beautiful depiction of art by various departments. It’s pleasing and impressive to look at the various shades of beauty, depicted via pictures, portraits and paintings.

The view from the windows is mesmerizing as you can see the beautiful mountains and catch a glimpse of Buddha Temple which is just a stone’s throw away from Graphic Era Hill University.The building is well ventilated and plenty of sunlight shines through to warm up in winters. 

                                                    

  

There are plenty of labs in the building including the iconic “Mac Lab” in the ground floor. Every lab is equipped with good computers and materials to assist students. “Moot Court” in the fifth floor is a realistic court designed for the law students to give them an optimal experience of their course. The library, nestled in the corner of first floor provides all the study materials needed for various courses. The books are neatly stacked in rows and categorized according to various subjects.

The "K.P. Nautiyal Auditorium" is the pride of Graphic Era Hill University with having a capacity for accomodating more than 400 People. It's a vast and spacious room ideal for seminars, guest lectures, interactions, functions, events and award shows.               

Every nook and corner of the infrastructure has its own beauty and elegance and is an essential part of this institution. The university is basked in a combination of red and white colour, red standing for the energy of the GEHU students and white standing for peace and glory..The university truly lives up to its motto “Transforming Dreams into Reality”.
